Verse of the Day

He (Jesus) said to them

"It is not for you to know

the times or the dates,

which the Father has fixed

by His own authority." Acts 1:7

Hello and welcome back. I hope that God has been blessing you this week. I was writing this on 10/19/2024 and found the verse of the day that is posted at the top. It made a great impression upon me when I read it. I have read it before however it seems very relevant in today's social political unrest. I have stated my beliefs before on this blog and it has not changed. I do not believe it ever will. I know that is out dated thinking today but my heart leads me with God's Holy Spirit to know it is the correct way.

I watch several YouTube Christians channels and it seems to be a trending topic or speculation on when the Lord Jesus Christ will be sent back to gather his church. We are told as the scriptures states:

"It is not for you to know

the times or the dates,

which the Father has fixed

by His own authority." Acts 1:7

It will happen in the twinkling of a eye. One instance we are here the next we our with our Lord! I praise God for his path of salvation. Lord Jesus for your sacrifice for all humanity

I believe most Christians will agree with this statement. The point of the teaching in this scripture is to stay on constant watch and prepared for his coming. Do not stray from the narrow path. Keep your eyes on the prize. Eternal Life. We must stay ready for his coming at all times. We are to focus on spreading the good news Christ's sacrifice provides to as many as we can. So keep your lamps trimmed and oil filled. Stay ready spread the Good News.
