Well hello and welcome back to Pop Pop's Spot

I am sorry for the long hiatus. I have had so much happening in my life here lately that I have had very little time to do anything other than what I have to do. In between work and worry, it has been a rough experience over the past 2 months. I know you have had just as much going on as I have, so I feel as if I am preaching to the choir. I still feel very blessed and hope you feel the same. I know there has been a lot happening in our country that has been happening that you may or may not feel blessed about. We need to count our blessings just the same. Look at it like this, it could be worse.

I pray you had a blessed time with your family over the Thanksgiving holiday, as I did. I know there had to be some that did not. I truly enjoyed my time off, although I have to help cook at least the main dishes like the turkey, sausage balls and rolls. I thank God for the blessings he bestowed upon me and my family this past year and feel the best way to enjoy the time is over a big meal with all the old time favorites.

I will be taking some time off after Christmas. I normally do around this time of year. I have been through a lot this year and praise God he brought me through it all. The US economy has taken a very big hit, as well as the global economy. The company I work for has experienced major realignments in just about all departments. There has been a lot of people that have lost their jobs that have been with this company for a very long time. My department included, and I pray comfort and guidance upon them all, not just the ones I know but all. God has so far kept me employed, and I trust he will see me through to what ever he has planned for my future. I just pray it can be turned around and brought back to the US and globally. I, as I am sure you do, have several grand children and pray for their futures. At my age I may not see the horrible times, however God may have me go through them as He may others. I pray for the current and the incoming administration. As I have said, it can get worse.

I identify as a conservationist, always have. No matter where we go, we should always strive to leave it better than we found it and for the next generations. I do have doubts about the green energy craze that has taken over our world. I am under the mind set that it is all about power and ways to move our world to a different direction. For what I do not know. With the way it seems, ALL the world leaders want it to go, we are going to have a lot of starving people. I do not believe they care. Do you? I know they say they have a plan to feed us, however I refuse to eat bugs or what ever they want us to start to consume. I plan to grow and raise my own if it comes to that being the only option. I often wonder how far will we as the common everyday people are going to let it go until we say enough is enough. I do not want to get political on here, however I believe we did make a statement with the US elections. They did I think manage to take or steal a few seats in California, otherwise it was a complete take-over. Now we need to stand firm and tell those in office to do what we want you to do, not what you want to do. The rich keep getting richer no matter what party is in the White House. Which leads me to this week's big story, the United Health Care CEO being murdered. I pray for comfort and blessing over his family and that the assassins gets brought to justice. There is a story going around that He, the CEO and some others sold a ton of their stocks and made a fortune! If it was all above board and not under the table or illegal in any way, I can not say much about it. It was their option's to do, so I am sure. However, if they are denying claims illegally then they need to be held accountable however the justice system needs to do the punishments not vigilantes. However, it is a clear example of the rich that keep getting richer and the rest of us suffer for their actions. I have United Health Care. However, I have not experienced any denied claims lately. I did have issues when they got hacked. I work for a company that is self insured and only use them as administers. Again God has blessed me.

I can not understand how anyone can celebrate this man's death under any circumstances, and I pray for those individuals. I hope you will join me in those prayers as well. We need to pray for the Nation and the world, it seems it is in constant turmoil.

I pray you have a Blessed week ahead and God guide and comfort you always. I hope to see you soon.

I will pray for you and I hope you pray for me, and together we can reach God so he can change hearts and minds to submit to his will and make this world a better place to be.

Until next time, this is Pop Pop signing off.
