I pray God has blessed you this past week. Here we are in starting into a new year and I felt the need to stress this to you ASAP! I wish I had posted it Last year, however I ran across this article late. My apologies for that. I do want to bring you what I did find, however. I have the reference links at the top and in hopes you will take this seriously. It needs to be one of your top priority this coming new year. We had the SSA hack and our data released and various other high level events all happening this past year.
This topic is again about your cybersecurity and how to take steps to protect your self. The CISA is America's Cybersecurity and infrastructure security agency, and they have released on 18th December 2024 this publication.

This guidance was crafted in response to identified cyber espionage activity by People’s Republic of China (PRC) government-affiliated threat actors targeting commercial telecommunications infrastructure, specifically addressing “highly targeted” individuals who are in senior government or senior political positions and likely to possess information of interest to these threat actors.
CISA strongly urges highly targeted individuals to immediately review and apply the best practices provided in the guidance to protect mobile device communications.

The above link is the PDF of the Publication. It is a 5-page document that urges highly targeted individuals to immediately review and apply to protect mobile communications. It goes on and states that highly targeted individuals should assume that all communications between mobile devices are at risk of interception.
I want to stress that it is not just for highly targeted individuals, it should be for everyone. This is common sense stuff that every person with a cell phone should be doing always.

CISA urges everyone to protect themselves online and adopt a heightened posture when it comes to Cybersecurity. CISA offers the following guidance for individuals, organizations, and leadership to enhance online security.
And please pass all of this to your children and grand children. I believe they express this point very clearly that nobody should take Cybersecurity lightly in today's climate. Hacking is taking place almost daily. Please review your Cybersecurity policies and practices and implement more strict habits. It may require you to upgrade your device if it does not have the ability to lock your phone and personal data effectively. Even the lowest cost phones today should have the ability to do this if we implement the best Cybersecurity practices, and the most important thing! KEEP IT UP TO DATE!! Software and apps!!! I wish I could find a way to highlight that before or after I post this. I hope I express this point to you and that you understand, I truly care about the common everyday person when I do not believe our governments feel or care about us. So take the time to read the PDF, and please adopt these habits and best practices for your sake and the sake of those you love, pass this along to them.
