Hello and welcome back. I hope God is truly blessing you and yours and that you have had a wonderful week.

I am taking this week's blog post spot to take the time to apologize to whom ever may have been looking for a post last week and did not find it. In fact, did not find the website at all. LOL! The Hostinger team and I finally got it resolved. Thanks to all those talented folks that make this hosting site and domain work so smoothly. The issue was totally my fault. Yes, Pop Pop makes mistakes. I am a real person and still fully employed with a very busy schedule even at my age. I do the blog mostly as a hobby with the hopes that it may turn into more at my later days in my life and if not my children and grand children may have something to remember me by.

Now onto the reason for the hiatus. I mentioned that it was my fault, I Pop Pop forgot to verify my email to prove I was a real person and that caused my domain to go inactive or to be deactivated. Which I do not blame them at all this is really starting to turn into a very big issue and more reasons for all of us to be aware of what we and are kids and grandkids are viewing nowadays.

I discovered the issue when I was randomly checking to see if my blog post had been published and found well nothing! I mean NOTHING! It was like my website and blog never existed. I started my investigation after I returned home from work and started to work with the AI chatbot that Hostinger has and followed all the instructions given to fix the issue to the letter. I found I was making progress but still could not see my website. I finally got to a landing page or parked page. I went back to the Chat and finally got a hold of Daven. It took a day to finally get it all resolved and additional 12 hours to see my website again. Now we are back up and viewing. I just want to say to Hostinger and Daven thank you so much for the help. I know it is frustrating to deal with customers from time to time especially when they do not know or have all the expertise that you do. Furthermore, I also want to encourage anyone reading if you are thinking of starting a website to check out Hostinger they make it easy for folks that know nothing about starting one. I am not being sponsored by them in any way I just wanted to say thank you for getting me back online and to brag on their customer support.

I am not sure if it is just me or has anyone else notice since the beginning of 2020 and all that the world went through everything we lost. A lot has changed. What I have noticed most is the customer service. I see folks all the time working jobs that may not be their first choice and it shows severely. A very clear example that comes to mind for me is younger folks that work jobs that they clearly do not want to be working. It shows in their demeanor, attitudes and CUSTOMER SERVICE. They give the impression that the job is beneath them. I visit gas stations several times a week and the one I normally stop at has really been falling in their customer service department. I believe all jobs are important during all conditions. Lots of people count on others doing those jobs while going about their day so they can get to their job and their work done. When we all are doing our job it helps make the world go round. I feel you should give your best at every job you accept after all no one forced you to take the position. I fear we are heading for really hard times and possibly soon. You never know when that job you do not want to do is no longer there for anyone to do.

It is up to us all to make this world a better place. I know there is corruption, crime of every kind from the top to the bottom. It is how we deal with it that matters and keeps God's plan in effect.

Take some advice from an old GenXer. Choose to do good and do it well and make this old world a lot better place. If we do that and spread love and cheer God's plan is still working.

I pray you have a blessing upon you and have a good week.

God bless all!
